HOW DOES ABBA MEDIX SUPPORT VETERAN PATIENTS

At Abba Medix, we respect our Veteran patients and support them through their patient journey. All products from Abba Medix are covered under direct billing through Veterans Affairs Canada. As a Veteran patient, you are eligible to order your first 90 grams of medical cannabis while waiting for your VAC approval. Please include your K number and indicate that you are a Veteran on the Abba Medix Registration Form.  If you qualify for coverage beyond 3 grams a day but need to order more than your covered amount, the 20% discount also applies.

I DON'T HAVE A PRESCRITION OR MEDICAL DOCUMENT, WHAT DO I DO?

Abba Medix is a wholly owned subsidiary of Canada House Wellness Group. Canada House has its own cannabis clinic network, Canada House Clinics.

Canada House Clinics offers qualified healthcare practitioners who can help you manage your health and wellness needs with medical cannabis. There is also a team of administrators who help with your medical cannabis documentation.

INJURED ACTIVE MILITARY PERSONNEL?

Any active service military personnel who has been injured and is authorized to use medical cannabis, but is not eligible for coverage through insurance, will receive 20% off any medical cannabis products at Abba Medix.

RETIRED MILITARY WITHOUT QUALIFIED COVERAGE?

For retired/ released veterans without qualified coverage, Abba Medix also extends a 20% discount to all Abba Medix products.

DOES ABBA MEDIX HAVE A COMPASSIONATE CARE PROGRAM?

Yes. Our Compassionate Care program is designed to help with accessibility for patients who require additional support. It allows patients living on disability or similar low-income government subsidy programs to receive a 15% price reduction on all our medical cannabis products. In order to qualify, an individual’s annual income must be $32,000 or less. Patients are required to annually provide proof of income (such as a Notice of Assessment).

Patients 18 years of age or younger, automatically qualify for the Compassionate Care Program.

This program is not a retroactive program and the Compassionate Care pricing is applied to orders once the patient is approved. Abba Medix reserves the right to include limitations to the program such as eligible strains and quantity. Abba Medix reserves the right to change or cancel this program at any time. This offer cannot be combined with any other discount or promotion.

DOES ABBA MEDIX HAVE A SENIOR DISCOUNT?

At Abba Medix, we understand that some of our senior patients over the age of 65 that are not eligible for our Compassionate Care Program will automatically be eligible for a senior’s discount of 10% on all our medical cannabis products.

Abba Medix reserves the right at any time to limit the size of this program and limit the eligible strains.  Abba Medix reserves the right to change or cancel this program at any time. This offer cannot be combined with any other discount or promotion.

DOES ABBA MEDIX HAVE A DISCOUNT FOR FIRST RESPONDERS?

At Abba Medix, we know there are challenges that come with being a first responder and medical cannabis can help with health and wellness. For our First Responder Patients, we offer a 20% on all our medical cannabis products.  Proof of employment as a Firefighter, Police Officer, or Paramedic is required (badge, certificate, or letter of employment).

ARE THERE TAXES ON MY MEDICAL CANNABIS?

In Canada, GST and HST apply to medical cannabis sales.  However, medical cannabis is tax-deductible and can be claimed as a medical expense (line 320-321) when filing your taxes. Speak to your financial advisor for more information.

HOW DO I PLACE AN ORDER?

Once your application has been approved, you can order through our online client portal or call us at 1-844-696-3349 to speak our Customer Care Team.

To place your first online order, refer to the “Welcome to Abba Medix” email you received, which contains your Client ID and a direct link to our client portal.  You will be required to set up a password.  Once your profile is set up, you can place orders online anytime.

WHAT METHODS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?

We accept Visa, Visa Debit, Mastercard and Mastercard Debit.

WHAT METHODS OF SHIPPING DO YOU OFFER?

We currently offer Canada Post, which includes, Expedited, Xpresspost, and Priority.  Purolator is also available using either Ground or Express.

WHAT IS THE SHIPPING COST?

We offer free shipping only with Canada Post on all orders over $100 before taxes, on for all clients.  Purolator shipping rates are determined by weight, size, and destination. ONCE I PLACE MY ORDER, WHEN WILL IT BE SHIPPED OUT?

Orders are shipped out by at least 2-3 business days.

Best efforts are made to reduce this time to our normal 1-2 days. We are experiencing a higher volume of new patients and working on solutions to reduce this time. Please remember that all shipping times are estimates and can be subject to delays, which can vary by courier.

WHAT IF MY INSURANCE COMPANY COVERS MY MEDICINAL CANNABIS?

If your insurance provider covers medical cannabis, please contact our Customer Care Team at 1-844-696-3349 or customerservice@abbamedix.com. Our team will help you set up direct billing.

HOW DO I TRACK MY PACKAGE?

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email with your tracking information.
